Mac’s List, the premier job board in the Pacific Northwest, hosted an evening of connection and learning on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Thesis Agency in Portland’s Slabtown.
Sponsored by B Local PDX, the event was for professionals eager to build a career that reflects their values.
Portland is home to a vibrant community of Certified B Corporations, nonprofits, and other purpose-driven employers that offer opportunities to create careers that matter.
A panel of three experts highlighted the benefits of working for mission-driven organizations, how to connect with this community, and what matters to these employers when hiring.
There were also networking opportunities before and after the discussion, allowing attendees to connect with other mission driven professionals, employers, and fellow job seekers.
Whether a seasoned professional, job seeker, student or recent graduate, this gathering helped attendees explore opportunities for purposeful work.
