I've worked with the Mac's List team in two ways: as an employer listing a job posting, and as a partner in designing and building their website. They are a team full of integrity, skill, and honesty. I appreciate how community-minded they are about every aspect of their work. Mac Prichard is a very special person who started Mac's List as a free service to the community. His heart and mission are evident in everything they do. It's been such a pleasure to work with them!
I am one of the senior career counselors and job search coaches in Portland, and I still listen to Mac's podcast interviews to be continually on top of new trends from top professionals. My job search clients who want to find meaningful work from top employers also depend on Macslist. Its obvious that every aspect of the business is driven by Mac Prichard (and his team) who are deeply committed to making the very best match between employers and candidates. Nothing but top notch expertise!
Mac's List was a tremendous support, source of information and guidance when I was unemployed and utilizing the array of services offered. I fall into the "older-hire" category and finding hiring opportunities was a challenge, across the United States, which I covered fervently for months. I creeped my way into the position I hold now, a contractor for the United States Air Force, stationed in Ramstein, Germany. The position is related to my profession, an educator/special educator and family advocate. Without the tools, podcasts, support group and encouragement from Mac's List, I would not have this rewarding position and be on a great retirement track. Thanks, Mac, and to all the Mac's List staff.
In my early career, managing employment programs, Mac's List was my go to resource for hundreds of job seekers over the years. What I cherished about it was the level of care and intention that went into the service they provided. I remember a job seeker (who eventually got work through a lead from Mac's List) told me the site gave her hope and true empowerment. Right now more than ever, if you're seeking work check it out. It's a gem!
The Mac’s List podcast “Find your Dream Job” is such a wonderful resource for anyone contemplating a career change to find work that matters or looking for advice and insights on how to successfully navigate their career journey. And not only is their job board amazing if you live in the Portland or Seattle areas, but I also recommend checking out their online resource library, it's like a treasure trove of even more great career-focused articles. Thanks Mac!
I'm completing my military service and beginning the job search in the private sector. It's all very new to me since I've been in the military since I graduated High School. I found Mac's "Find Your Dream Job" podcast and it's helping me immensely! His guests and topics are on point and extremely helpful. I'm voraciously consuming as many episodes as I can and recommend anyone else in the job search labyrinth spend a few minutes a day listening to it. It will help relive a little stress and help give you some direction. Thanks Mac!
