Becca is the Membership Coordinator at the Portland Business Alliance, the Greater Portland Area’s Chamber of Commerce. She loves being an advocate for all things Portland.Becca is an events, customer service, hospitality, and membership relations rock star. She is an administrative professional and an adept events expert. She wears many hats, loves a challenge, and thrives in a busy and bustling atmosphere.An active community member, Becca has volunteered with Family Building Blocks, Girls on the Run International, S.M.A.R.T., CASA for Children of Multnomah, Washington, & Columbia Counties, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Meals on Wheels People.Becca believes in being clear about your goals and the power of personal relationships to help you land your dream job. She talks about building rapport during an interview, how trusting your instincts can help you know when a position is the right fit, and how learning to go with your gut can help you make difficult career decisions.Previously, Becca worked everywhere from Nordstrom to a winery, hitting dead ends and disappointment during her job search. But she stuck to her goals, and her diligence paid off. She even turned down a job offer because it wasn’t a good fit.
