Locations: San Francisco, Portland, Shanghai


*Fluency in Mandarin

*Oversee, conceptualize, and build the libraries and frameworks behind Operator’s web platform end-to-end

*Collaborate cross-functionally across design, engineering, and business to build elegant and intuitive web applications, features, and user experiences

*Own projects end-to-end from brainstorming to design to implementation and shipment

*Create creative, cutting-edge, and effective solutions to design and engineering challenges

*Must have exceptional knowledge and mastery of HTML/CSS/Javascript

*Must have fluency with Python

*2+ years of industry experience building professional layouts and architecting production quality code that is scalable and easy to maintain

*A digital portfolio that displays your interactive, front end work including code samples

*A Computer Science foundation and ability to move across the stack from client to server development is a big plus!

*Additional nice-to-haves include experience in Angular JS and familiarity with tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.


*You love making clean and beautiful UI and have a deep understanding of visual design principles and usability

*Experienced with modern browser technologies

*You take pride in testing your code and constantly improving your skills

*You are passionate about learning and staying up-to-date on cutting-edge web technologies and industry standards

*Detail oriented and possess a strong drive to produce quality work

*You are known for your rapid prototyping skills and your adherence to agile practices

*Excellent at communicating with cross-functional teams and individuals (both technical and nontechnical)

*Ability to learn, think on your feet, and adapt quickly in a startup environment
