We are focused on empowering the key life transitions of post-secondary education, employment, and independence for individuals with disabilities. Incight provides resources and hosts events to reach a wide group of individuals with differing types of disabilities. About the Position (or why this position is right for you):
This 32 hour position reports to the Executive Director and is part of the leadership team and participates in the collaborative, consensus driven organizational decision making process.The timing of this hire provides a unique opportunity, as we are beginning implementation of a new strategic plan. The Development Director will be a key player in meeting our strategic goals over the next five years. This position is ideal for an energetic, mission driven individual who is committed to equity for all, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking to grow with the organization.

Position Responsibilities:
Work with the three person development team to craft and implement annual development and communications plans in support of strategic goals and priorities. Oversees all fundraising efforts and events (currently three events per year), marketing, and external communication. Participates as a member of the organization’s leadership team in strategic, programmatic, and financial decision making processes.

Position Duties:
Craft and implement annual development and communications plans.
Align goals and activities with strategic plan priorities.
Plan and oversee all fundraising events and campaigns.
Share responsibility for developing and managing sponsorships.
Share responsibility for donor cultivation.
Oversee donor tracking, communication, and reporting.
Share responsibility for crafting and implementing all marketing and external communication strategies, including social media, direct mailings, press releases, and annual reports.
Coordinate all outcomes based tracking and storytelling assets.
Participate in leadership team meetings.
Work with program directors to strategize, research, coordinate, and deliver all grant submissions and reporting.

Skills, Qualifications, and Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3-5 years of fundraising/development experience. Previous director level experience preferred
Experience in event planning and management, marketing, and communication planning
Solid understanding of philanthropy, major gifts, planned giving, foundation and government grants, and corporate giving & workplace giving
Successful track record with individual donor identification, cultivation, and long term partnerships
Budget planning, accountability, and reporting experience
Ability to write persuasively
Computer and social networking fluency with specific proficiency in Google Suite, relevant social media platforms, CRM solutions, and event management software
Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends around special events

Details:
Salary: $48,000
FTE: 32 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible
