Description:
City Club is seeking a Civic Association to assist the Membership and Development Coordinator and work directly with City Club’s member-led membership committee. Responsibilities include:

-Database management, analysis and reporting
-Volunteer management
-Community outreach
-Event planning and execution
-Attendance at committee meetings

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Interest in and understanding of public policy
-Desire to work with volunteer and community leaders
-Interest in a career in nonprofit, campaign work, or policy fields

Time commitment: 10-15 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. This is an unpaid internship with a transportation stipend.

City Club of Portland is a civic engagement nonprofit with 2,000 members who drive conversations and research around issues affecting our community. Ideal applicants are interested in working in a collaborative environment while preparing for a career in the nonprofit, political campaign, or policy fields.
