Senior HR Recruiter – Recovery & Healthcare

You will join a small group of dedicated, qualified, diverse and friendly HR employees. As a Recruiter, your role will include: Develop strong relationships with managers to acquire a solid understanding of their operations and the type of talent required to ensure their success and conducts recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers. Manage requisitions in an efficient manner, oversee the life of the assigned requisition to completion. Apply persuasive sales ability and rapport in work with candidates and hiring managers. Screen and coordinate interviews for all qualified applicants with the hiring managers. Full cycle recruitment, from posting to on-boarding. Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on employment activities, hiring needs, and trends. Ensure agency compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to recruiting, screening, and selection of applicants. Own the responsibility of attracting a qualified and diverse pool of job applicants through a variety of traditional and non-traditional recruiting activities such as hiring announcements, recruiting advertisements, targeted outreach campaigns, professional networking, recruiting events, career open houses, work with colleges and other similar activities. Build and identify networks through industry groups, contacts, association memberships, current employees, partnerships with other organizations and career fairs/employer of the day events to identify qualified candidates. Lead efforts and involve others in creating and promoting a positive employer brand to current employees, our community, and to potential job applicants, building anticipation and demand for future opportunities. Effectively utilizing the online applicant tracking system. Recognizing and resolving issues with stalled or unsuccessful requisitions. Providing additional short-term support to hiring managers where needed. Special projects and serving as a backup to the HR team members as required Key Competencies : Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional sales skills Professional attitude and appearance Customer service oriented Organization and planning In addition to being mission-driven, the following qualifications and experience are important for success in this position: : If Bachelor’s Degree is not in human resources, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology or similarly related area of study, a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is required, or a combination of education and directly related work experience. Knowledge of HRIS system(s). Knowledge in ULTIPRO is not required but highly desired. A valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license and an acceptable driving and criminal background record. Being able to pass references, educational and drug screening. Experience or proven ability to apply persuasive style of recruitment. Experience working as a recruiter with the staffing firm can be a big plus. Ability to stay excited and self-driven in the continuous recruitment environment. Skills and experience in other HR areas (HRIS, Benefits, or Training) can be a big plus. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Hours can be somewhat flexible.
