This leadership role will be responsible for maintaining an established portfolio of commercial, retail, mixed use, and multi-family properties. Additionally, and crucially, this person will be involved in the development of raw, prime location real estate within the Portland Metro area. This work includes maximizing value and return for all assets, and making strategic decisions for the properties. This position requires hands-on fiscal management of these operations, including negotiating property agreements and leases, maintaining insurance policies, coordinating with legal counsel on all leasing and join venture development activities and more. The right person for the role will be a blend of strong interpersonal skills and financial acumen. This entrepreneurial group prizes critical thinking, building relationships, independent motivation, and communication.

8+ years of experience in real estate management required, preference given to candidates with experience in retail, commercial, and multi-family portfolios
Thorough knowledge of financial concepts and financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modeling

Bachelor’s degree required; in Finance, Accounting, or in Business Administration a plus

Your New Organization:
This closely held commercial property and development firm has deep, deep roots in the community. They’re looking for an eventual successor to their longtime leader, someone who can evaluate the substantial, undeveloped existing portfolios. This is a stable environment with tenured teams and many outside consultants and resources. This is a rare opportunity to really make your mark on the city, and participate in 15+ years of expansion with some of the last prime real estate in our local market. With the right acumen, you can expect expanded executive responsibilities. You’ll also receive above-market compensation commensurate with experience.
