our innovative Strategic Systems and Data Management Unit. This key role leads
the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the ProjectWise IT
solution/system at ODOT. This person will act as the ProjectWise system
administrator and lead ODOT’s efforts to configure and administer the
ProjectWise technology solution.

 Additional Details:
The successful candidate will become part of the state’s management team. Duties and
Responsibilities:Provide on-going administration and configuration of
the ProjectWise application and workplace templates.
Provide ProjectWise application security and access
Maintain and provide administration support for
ProjectWise’s database.
Design, produce, and deliver ProjectWise application
Evaluate and identify criteria, reports, performance
measures, and processes for the on-going measurement and monitoring of the
ProjectWise system performance and availability.
Manage and monitor ProjectWise environments.
Update and ensure ProjectWise application/system
technical documentation is up-to-date.
Draft policies, working agreements, presentations,
issue papers, and other system status, communication, and team document
Lead ProjectWise technical/issue identification and
resolution processes.
Troubleshoot technical system issues that occur in the
production environment and provide recommendations or implement solutions
to fix issues.
Lead communications with ProjectWise user base and
stakeholders regarding technical maintenance, incident status and
Provide on-going ProjectWise system technical
customization and automation capabilities to the ProjectWise system and
implement portions of system enhancements to the software.
Lead development of training and end-user
documentation, manuals, and training content.

business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance,
political science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge
and skills; and four (4) years professional-level evaluative,
analytical and planning work.OR
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven (7) years of
experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the

Experience and knowledge of ProjectWise workflow
Experience leading ProjectWise system troubleshooting
and incident management support processes.
Experience with CAD system configuration or other
AutoDesk products such as MicroStation, InRoads or AutoCAD.
Process or project leadership experience.

Working Conditions:Work is performed in a typical, open office environment
and requires continuous use of computers and office equipment.
Flexible work hours required with occasional extended
workdays and/or after hour meetings/events.
Overnight travel may be required.
Field work may be required which may require driving a
state vehicle.
Occasional regional travel within the state and potentially
out-of-state required.
May be required to lift up to 30 pounds. 
Work may involve high stress/conflict situations
stemming from competing priorities or differing organizational mandates
and agendas.
