Office Administrator for Honey Wellness Company

We are a small and
growing honey and herbal product company, with our headquarters
located in Northeast Portland (12450 NE Marx Street). We have a staff of 9 people who love
what they do, and are owner operated. We’re looking for a skilled
person to join our team full time and provide administrative support
in the front office.Essential
Qualifications:-Experienced in a
busy office setting-Accounts
payable/receivable experience-Bookkeeping
experience – Quickbooks preferred-Very detail oriented
and organized-Computer savvy –
experienced with Microsoft Office Suite-Friendly, helpful
demeanor – in person, on the phone, and via emailJob Description:-Creating invoices
within Quickbooks Software-Processing payments-helping to keep
track of accounts payable/receivable-Answering,
prioritizing, and organizing e-mails
-Creating and printing
shipping labels
-Working with Packaging and Shipping department to assure orders are
packed and shipped timely and correctly
-Weekly bookkeeping
entries
-Completing and submitting reports
-Providing
excellent customer service, both in-person, over the phone, and via
e-mail
-Data Entry, Maintaining Spreadsheets
-Maintaining
and refining filing systems-Assisting with
bi-monthly inventory, ordering supplies
-Updating our websites
and online stores as needed-Preparing Bill of
Ladings and other documents for freight shipments-Understanding and
implementing our quality and customer support policies
-Assisting
to develop and update company documents as needed
-Keeping the
office area clean and tidy, watering plants, etc.
-Possible
Social Media and Newsletter support roleBenefits Offered:-Paid Sick Leave, 1
hour accrues every 30 hours worked, begins accruing at start date of
work. Available for use after 90 days of employment, not to exceed 40
hours used per year.-Paid Vacation Time,
1 hour accrues every 30 hours worked, begins accruing and becomes
available for use after 6 months of employment, not to exceed 40
hours used per year.-$275 monthly QSEHRA Individual Health Insurance Premium reimbursement, available 60 days after start
day of work. -40 per month of
