OUTREACH MANAGER

 

Oregon Catholic Press (OCP), the largest U.S. Catholic publisher
of liturgical music and digital print and worship aids, is seeking a Music
Outreach Manager in our Music Development and Outreach Division.  If you have a passion for doing meaningful

 The Music Outreach Manager leads a team that is key
to ensuring the advancement of OCP’s intellectual property through providing
high visibility and effective placement of copyrights, composers/artists and
clinicians at a diversity of events. These would include planning, implementing
and evaluating performance at national conventions and trade shows, small
conferences, diocesan and parish, as well as multi-media events through
liturgical, formational, educational, spiritual and musical experiences. Key
activities include leading staff in collaboration with the music development,
marketing, sales and customer services and realization teams to ensure success
of the strategic objectives and goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages, coaches,
supervises, and oversees all Music Outreach staff (7-10 people) that performs
event and outreach activities. Includes writing annual performance reviews.

Manages department budget of approximately $1.5 million.

Collaborates with OCP Product Sponsors, Sales and Marketing team
members, Realization and all levels of management to ensure marketing messages
and product placement are consistent for all events.

Recommends strategies and tactics to meet OCP strategic and
marketing goals.

·        
Leads team to create process design and accompanying support
documentation for improvement and maximum effectiveness.

·        
Communicates benchmarks, results and metrics to upper level
management.

·        
Provides strategic oversight to all OCP’s event work: artist
events, formation al events, conventions and event sponsorships.

·        
Fosters relationships with key organizations that OCP can partner
with to advance OCP copyrights, products, resources and composers/artists.

·        
Participates as on-site
staff for OCP’s participation in national and regional conventions, conferences
and events.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

·        
3+ years of supervisory experience with teams of more than five
employees.

·        
3+ years of Exhibit and Events experience.

·        
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent specializing in Music, Liturgy,
Marketing or Business.

·        
Ability to perform daily tasks with Microsoft Office, Outlook and
web-based software is required.

·        
Understanding of Catholic liturgy beneficial.

Knowledge of music, specifically liturgical music is beneficial.

·        
Knowledge of social media, video streaming platforms and Adobe
software is beneficial.

·        
Knowledge of OCP products and services and/or its market is
beneficial.

·        
Knowledge and experience in pastoral ministry beneficial.

·        
Bilingual and bi-literate (English/Spanish) beneficial.

·        
Multicultural competencies a plus.

·        
Frequent travel is required for this position.
