The HR Generalist will provide part-time, temporary services, with the opportunity for permanent hire, as the ReBuilding Center redesigns its administrative organizational structures of support. PurposeIn the first 90-days: to provide stability and continuity to the ReBuilding Center’s HR practices, share HR expertise with the ReBuilding Center’s management team, and oversee daily HR-related work flows and situations. After 90-days: Identify and implement opportunities for HR improvement, while overseeing ongoing HR-related workflows and responsibilities. Job DescriptionThe HR Generalist is familiar with HR best practices and requirements, and is able to work with minimal assistance to ensure the ReBuilding Center’s team is proactively supported. During the first 90 days, the HR Generalist will work closely with the Acting Director and other members of the management team to identify the best near- and long-term organizational structure to support HR excellence at the ReBuilding Center moving forward. Key focus areas will include legal compliance, benefits administration, fair and safe workplace stewardship, and new manager coaching. Key 90-Day GoalsPerform daily human resources activities as needed, including recruitment, hiring, orientation, benefits administration, compensation, documentation, termination and other HR essential duties as needed. Take the lead on troubleshooting HR-related situations as they arise. Assist with updates to the Employee Handbook policies and procedures as needed. Participate in the redesign our administrative structures of organizational support. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion training and planning as needed.
