As Head of Operations, you will be Fleet’s senior authority on freight forwarding operations across Air, Ocean, and Domestic Transportation.  This position is perfect for an individual that thrives in a fast paced environment, seeks out opportunities to drive change, and has a whatever-it-takes-get-it-done mentality.  This is a high impact opportunity which will contribute greatly to Fleet’s long-term success.Day to Day ImpactMaintain oversight of day-to-day freight forwarding operations, observing the pulse of personnel, systems, and partners.Hire, lead, and coach the team for success in a  high-performance culture that accommodates the rapid and dynamic growth of freight forwarding operations.Lead on identifying market trends to keep the team current with the latest in freight forwarding technology and industry best practices.Proactively guide the team in sourcing adequate partners to scale freight forwarding operations.Serve as the primary decision-maker regarding partner negotiation and contract approval.Establish KPIs & ensure the success of partners from onboarding to ongoing utilization of their services.Establish SLAs to which partners must adhere; monitor and ensure compliance.Work closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering team members to represent the interests partners.Be the final escalation point when resolving issues between shippers and partners.Develop an annual operating budget for personnel and systems that will ensure operational excellence.You’ll Be Successful BecauseBachelor’s degree required.
