What Matters Most:
3-5 years of experience
Experience with financial statement analysis, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close required
Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory reconciliations preferred
Proficiency in MS Office required; Experience with Dynamics NAV and ERP systems preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Your New Role:
One of the largest cannabis companies in the world has engaged us in their search for a stellar Cost Accountant. They’re looking for a true initiative taker – someone who knows how to use all the resources at their disposal and has no problem jumping right in and learning as they go. In the role, you’ll analyze the manufacturing process and establish costs associated with production. You’ll participate in physical inventory counts and investigate variances, and develop policies, procedures, and controls around inventory and costing. You’ll participate in month-end close, work on general ledger entries, and prepare inventory reconciliations including preparing inventory received and not invoiced.
