Coordinator

Join a visionary animal welfare non-profit that’s
expanding humane methods for dog and cat population control! The Alliance for
Contraception in Cats & Dogs (ACC&D) seeks a Coordinator to help
the organization achieve its highest impact by providing project support and
administrative coordination. This is a rare opportunity to join a unique
non-profit working to reinvent birth control options for dogs and cats worldwide.   About the Job: You will perform administrative duties and
strengthen infrastructure as needed to support the functioning of the
organization in relation to sound non-profit business practice, donor support
and fundraising, project and meeting coordination, and event planning. Many of
the organization’s projects use novel approaches to address present animal
health and welfare challenges, meaning that the ideal candidate will enjoy
thinking creatively and flexibly, and utilizing problem-solving skills when
necessary. This position will be based out of ACC&D’s President’s home
office in NW Portland and, over time, provide the opportunity to work the
majority of the time remotely. This position is salaried at 30 hours per week. It
offers the potential for a flexible schedule between the hours of 8 to 6pm
Monday to Friday. Benefits include vacation, 401K match, and additional monthly

welfare so emotionally challenging.Requirements: The successful candidate will be a
self-starter with demonstrated organizational, communication, collaborative,
and interpersonal skills; great attention to detail; experience with Microsoft
Office applications, QuickBooks, website and social media updates; and the
motivation to work with a small and dedicated team to expand your skillset,
knowledge of and impact in this field.   The successful candidate will
have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in a relevant field (including
but not limited to animal sciences, biology, business management,
communications, or journalism). S/he will also have a minimum 3 years’
experience in administrative support, project coordination, or event planning.
Experience in the animal health or welfare fields is desirable but not
