Business Development Representative

Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative, your primary
responsibilities will be to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales
teams, with a focus on establishing new business opportunities by contacting
and developing relationships with potential customers in the US small and
midsized (SMB) marketplace.

This work includes engaging prospects for our suite of HR
services, building and nurturing relationships with decision makers and
executives, connecting clients’ organizational objectives to HR best practices
and crafting a message to meet their immediate and ongoing HR needs. This
position requires a passion for both HR and sales, along with a genuine desire
to help our clients and potential clients, improve their HR function and
overall organizational effectiveness.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•             Engage
and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities that would be
a strong fit with Mammoth’s mission, business model and service/consulting

•             Embrace a
consultative methodology with potential clients to learn about their
organizations, objectives and HR needs

•             Collaborate
with other members of the Mammoth sales team to leverage best practices

•             Contact
potential new clients through cold calls and emails

•             Present
our company to potential clients

•             Identify
client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

•             Customize
product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

•             Build
long-term trusting relationships with clients

•             Proactively
seek new business opportunities in the market

•             Design
consulting packages and proposals that best fit the immediate and future needs
of prospect organizations

•             Connect
HR best practices and efficiencies to healthier workplaces and company growth

•             Represent
the company at industry conferences and events

•             Collaborate
with our internal HR Professional team to stay up-­‐to-­‐date on employer
responsibilities and best practices

•             Other
tasks and travel as assigned




•             3+ years
of experience working in a proactive new business acquisition role

•             Demonstrated
experience in business development, consultative selling, or other client
acquisition activities

•             Hands-on
experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

•             Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

•             Results
driven, independent worker with innovative/entrepreneurial mindset

•             Strong
Internet navigation and research skills

•             Familiarity
with Salesforce or other cloud-based CRM systems

•             Understanding
of and ability to demonstrate the value of a Human Resources function for a SMB

•             Excellent
presentation skills, both web-based and in person


Preferred Qualifications

•             Experience
in a Human Resources/HCM related revenue producing role

•             Experience
using Salesforce

•             Experience
using LinkedIn Sales Navigator

•             Experience
in selling subscription-based or recurring revenue service models


Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to effectively communicate via telephone, video call, and email.
The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position and
occasionally required to move from one location to another, inside or outside
of the office. The employee is required to constantly use computer and office
productivity equipment such as a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, printer, and
calculator, as well as computer software such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
The employee must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to
25 pounds. The office has an open floor plan and the noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate to loud.
