Salary: $155K-$185K OTE first year, no cap
What Matters Most:
5+ years of experience with B2B technology and software sales
Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce strongly preferred
Experience with full-cycle software sales; Experience with contract and term negotiation strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required
Up to 20-30% travel in the Western U.S.
Work from home office in Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and cover the western territory
Your New Role:
We’re eager to partner with this global software solutions provider to find their new West Coast Business Development Director. In this role, you’ll communicate and sell the company’s value proposition across many verticals and be responsible for the full-cycle sales process from client targeting, qualification, and presentation to proposal, training, and trial services. Solid experience with prospecting in a hunter role will put you on track to exceed expectations here. You’ll utilize Salesforce and LinkedIn to aid in building your pipeline and develop and close new business in this highly-consultative software sales environment. There’s flexibility with this position as you’ll work from their Portland office or remotely. Do you have a listening ear and an intuitive understanding of important deal structures?
