Bar (OSB) regulates the practice of law in Oregon
and provides a variety of services to its members and the public.

We are looking for someone to provide a variety of administrative, financial,
secretarial, and clerical support for the Oregon Law Foundation (OLF) and Legal
Services Programs (LSP). ****************************************

Part-Time Position – 6 hours per day –
Monday through Friday

Essential Duties include the following:

Coordinates and organizes the internal functions of the OLF
and the LSP including preparing and handling a variety of correspondence,
documents and reports, recordkeeping, maintaining data bases, data analysis,
data management, designing marketing materials, and internal support services.

Coordinates all board and committee meetings for the OLF and
the LSP. Assists with preparation of material for meetings including draft
agendas. Attends all OLF board and committee meetings for the purpose of
preparing draft minutes and assisting the department with follow-up items.
Provides task-specific support to the OLF, LSP, Pro Bono Program, and related
committees and task forces.

Supports the budget process for both the OLF and LSP and
monitors expenses. Interfaces with the OLF’s bookkeepers to coordinate and
submit the information needed to create timely financial records for the OLF.
Serves as the staff contact for the independent auditing firm during the OLF’s
annual audit.

Plans and coordinates events, on and off site, includes
transporting supplies, and equipment set up and breakdown.

Coordinates the OLF grant application process. Performs
grant management tasks throughout the year such as reviewing reports and
compiling information for the OLF and LSP.

Maintains and updates content on the LSP and OLF websites.

Supports department staff by coordinating travel
arrangements, ordering office supplies, and acting as a liaison to the IT
Department to ensure that computer and technological needs of the programs are
met.

Assists in the evaluation of departmental systems, makes
recommendations for process improvement strategies, and assists in their
implementation.

Candidates may have any
satisfactory equivalent combination of the following experience & training
which ensures the ability to perform the work. 

A two-year degree
focused on a business-related field.

Three years of
experience as an administrative assistant preferably including experience in a
corporate or executive office environment.

Experience with
office recordkeeping and reporting systems and administrative organization
methods.

Experience with
Microsoft Office Suite in a Microsoft Windows environment with particular
emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint. Experience with
Adobe Acrobat Pro. Ability to become familiar with OSB-specific programs and
software.

Experience with
database programs. Experience performing data entry and database manipulations
and retrieval work with high accuracy.

Type 40 WPM with
accuracy.

Ability to travel
locally to meetings and seminars.

Ability to lift
up to 20 pounds for purposes of setting up for special events on or off
site.

For this salary
range, the minimum is $23.37 per hour. The OSB offers excellent benefits including voluntary 6%
participation in the PERS program.
