Salary: $50K DOE
What Matters Most:
3+ years of experience in A/P and A/R in a professional services environment
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable required
Ability to perform mathematical calculations, reconcile balances, verify numerical data, calculate billing percentages, and adjust billing rates
Proficiency in MS Office required; Experience with a mid-level accounting system strongly preferred
Associate’s degree preferred
Your New Role:
Accounting is nothing if not a numbers game, and we’re looking for someone with a sharp mind and superb attention to detail to help balance the financials in this A/P and A/R focused role. As Accounting Specialist, you’ll process and post cash applications and deposits, review and audit account coding and vendor maintenance, and work regularly with billing specialists to transfer funds and resolve issues. Additionally, you’ll collect, compile, and report on various accounts payable and accounts receivable data. You’ll have a 37.5 hour work week and report to the Director of Finance who will be a great manager and mentor as you learn and grow with the firm. Success will come quickly if you’re a major team player who’s most at ease when you’re able to collaborate with others.
