This is a key position and the scope of work is diverse ranging from preparing, maintaining, analyzing, and reconciling financial transactions, statements, and financials; maintaining processes, controls, and documents; ensuring the accuracy of the financial systems; participating in variance analysis, program costing, the budgeting process, month end closing and annual audit.  Primarily responsible for day to day human resource processes including onboarding, payroll preparation for 3rd party processing, and employee benefit administration.  There will be opportunities to collaborate on process and systems improvements as we reengineer organizational infrastructure to support growth and expansion of services.Benefits Include:·       Competitive PTO·       Generous 401K match·       Flexible work schedule potentiallyPreferred Skills and Experience·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field·       Minimum of two years of non-profit accounting experience with accounting for donor restricted funds·       Experience thriving in a small organization wearing numerous hats successfully from detail transaction processing to managerial decision-making responsibilities·       Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)·       Proficiency in Excel and other MS core applications·       Strong initiative & self-starter with analytical skills to effectively solve problems and evolve solutions·       Excellent organizational skills – ability to multi-task and manage time and outcomes effectively·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills·       Ability to work independently with accountability; exercise sound judgment and discretion; maintain confidentiality·       Be a team player·       Inventory management experience a plus but not required·       Business systems scoping and implantation experience a plus but not required·       A strong commitment to Sunshine Division’s Mission & Equity Statement Working Conditions·       Occasional work after-hours and weekends·       Engage in regular communication in-person/Zoom as well as through electronic means·       Professionally relaxed culture, collaborative and supportive where every team member is supported and valued Application Sunshine Division is an equal opportunity employer that does not tolerate discrimination on any basis.
